About Us:
At Bekkers Pet Care, we pride ourselves on being the best pet care, pet boarding and dog daycare facility in Ottawa and throughout the Capital Region. For 19+ years, we’ve built our reputation on honesty, quality of care, and employing great people: knowledgeable managers who truly care about the wellbeing of your dog or cat, and plenty of part time staff to make sure all the dogs and cats being boarded with us get all the attention that they need.
Our History:
We’ve had a lifelong passion for pets, and sought to build the perfect facility to turn our passion into the perfect pet care facility. We acquired a property in the west end of the city to serve not only the city of Ottawa, but Richmond, Stittsville, Manotick, Barrhaven, Kanata and surrounding areas throughout the region; and in January, 2001, we officially opened up the doors to Bekkers Pet Care.
We built the facility from the ground up, with cleanliness and safety as a top priority. After two years of business Bekkers opened up the second half of the facility to keep up with the demand.
We’re committed to continually keep growing our Ottawa kennel facilities, and making sure that it’s always kept up to the same shape as the day we opened our doors.
Our staff:
The facility is owned and operated by Kevin and Tricia Bekkers. Upon arrival at the front desk, you will be greeted by Andrew, Maddy, Logan, or Kevin. Outdoors or elsewhere in the building, you will see our many caregivers walking, talking, petting, and simply providing attentive care to our boarders. At Bekkers Pet Care, we really love what we do and we appreciate hearing feedback from our customers. We always strive to keep our four-legged friends and their guardians happy during a stay with us!
